TASTE OF SAUDI CULTURE EVENT
من الثامن حتى العاشر من شهر نوفمبر لهذا العام، كان لفريقنا شرف المشاركة والحضور في حدث ثقافي ساحر يهدف للتعريف بجوانب من الثقافة السعودية للشعب الياباني
From the 8th to the 10th of November of this year, our team had the privilege of participating in and attending a mesmerising cultural event aimed at introducing aspects of Saudi Arabia’s culture to Japanese people.

كان المهرجان بعنوان مذاق الثقافة السعودية من تنظيم هيئة فنون الطهي السعودية في حديقة أرياكي بطوكيو. وقد أقيم بهدف الاحتفال بجوانب مهمة للثقافة السعودية الغنية والجميلة، وبالأخص الجوانب المتعلقة بالطبخ والفنون التقليدية. وفي جهودها لخلق علاقة ثقافية أفضل بين اليابان والسعودية، نظمت الهيئة الحدث الرائع المذكور أعلاه والذي نجح في استقطاب العديد من الزوار اليابانيين وغير اليابانيين
The event, called “Taste of Saudi Culture”, was hosted by the Saudi Culinary Arts Commission in Ariake Garden in Tokyo. It was held to celebrate important aspects of the rich and beautiful culture of Saudi Arabia, specifically those related to its cuisine and traditional arts. In its efforts to foster a better cultural connection between Japan and Saudi Arabia, the Commission organised the amazing aforementioned 3-day-long event, which succeeded in attracting many Japanese and non-Japanese visitors alike.
شهد المهرجان وجود 20 كشك منها متاجر هدايا وأكشاك حرف يدوية وأطعمة، واستعرضت كل من هذه الأكشاك منتجاتها للحاضرين، مانحة لهم الفرصة لرؤية هذه المنتجات وتجربتها والأهم للتعرف عليها. أيضا، كانت هناك منصات مخصصة للطبخ على المباشر والتي وفرت لكل الحاضرين تجربة أكل رائعة. كان الجو العام حيويا جدًا بفضل الرقص التقليدي والعروض الموسيقية الجميلة الحية
The event witnessed the presence of 20 booths, ranging from gift shops, traditional handcraft stands, and food stalls, each displaying their products for the attendees to see, try, and, most importantly, to learn about. There were also platforms dedicated to live cooking, providing an exquisite eating experience for all attendees. The overall environment was extremely vibrant thanks to the live traditional dancing and beautiful musical performances.

Our team members located in Japan covered the whole event and conducted brief meetings with some of the talented Saudi artists and chefs participating in it. Moreover, they had the honour to meet His Excellency, the Honourable Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Japan, Dr Ghazi Binzagr, and gain deep, invaluable knowledge from him. كشركة تهدف إلى ربط الثقافات وتقريب اليابان من العالم العربي، كانت مشاركة فريقنا في حدث غني بالثقافة بمثابة متعة عظيمة. إن المملكة العربية السعودية من أكبر وأهم المعالم العربية والإسلامية بلا شك، والتعرف عليها يعد خطوة أولى ضخمة نحو الهدف الأكبر والأشمل ألا وهو فهم الحضارة العربية والثقافة الإسلامية
As a company that seeks to bridge cultures and bring Japan and the Arab World closer to each other, it was our team’s biggest pleasure to take part in such a culturally-loaded event. Undoubtedly, Saudi Arabia is one of the biggest and most important landmarks in the Arab, Islamic World, and learning about it is a huge first step towards the bigger goal of understanding Arab civilisation and Islamic culture.
